Disney Living Challenge Week 4: Take Care of Your Chompers
We’re back with Week 4 of the Disney Living Challenge and this week we want you to challenge your kids to “Take Care of Their Chompers”. We all know that teaching kids to take care of their teeth starts early. If you can program them early on great oral care habits than you’ll be ahead of the game and a few dollars richer without the costs related to cavities and such.
Disney Living has some great tools to help get your kids excited about oral care. Now you can purchase toothbrushes, toothpaste and mouthwash with all of their favorite characters on the packaging. We’ve long known that something so small can make a world of difference when it comes to excitement surrounding brushing teeth. For example our youngest girls L-O-V-E their character toothbrushes and can easily identify their own. They also are eager to use the toothpaste whenever one of their favorite TV characters is involved LOL. Below are a few tips that you can use for this week’s challenge.
TIPS FOR THE CHALLENGE:
• Let your kids pick out a tooth brush or paste with their favorite character to keep things fun
• Sing a silly song while kids brush to make the activity exciting and help make sure they brush teeth thoroughly
• Help your kids understand the importance of good oral care by showing empathy when they protest the daily activity
