The Voice at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Heals Kids Through Music

BMWK family if you’ve been following along you’ve noticed that we’ve been becoming more involved with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and the amazing work that they are doing there to care for our sick children. We recently performed a Pampers Miracle Mission at their NICU and soon I’ll be posting a story about the Marcus Autism Center which is a part of their system.

Yesterday I had the opportunity to receive a tour and find out more information about THE VOICE broadcast media facility at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. THE VOICE is a radio station at the hospital that plays songs that the kids want to hear. Patients can listen to the station by tuning in on their TVs or they can come down to the studio and actually hang out. Everything was top notch and while I was there kids who were in the hospital came down to visit and listen to their favorite tunes. For those few moments that they were there they didn’t have to think about their illness because they were listening to their favorite songs and able to just be kids. Check out the video below to learn moreĀ  about this amazing facility at CHOA.
