VIDEO: Amber Riley Covers Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You” On Glee

Amber Riley, who plays Mercedes on Fox’s Glee, brought some big pipes to her rendition of Whitney’s “I Will Always Love You.” Like so many, Riley was more than just a fan and really felt crushed when she learned of her death:

I can’t even breathe right now. Not Whitney. I’m in tears right now. ;(

I had to pull over off the road. RIP Whitney Houston. I’m glad now that I got to meet you and thank you for your beautiful music.

I AGREE & was getting ready to post the same exact thing. Too bad she wasn't chosen to sing at the Grammy's. I definitely felt chills...RIP Whitney, yes, we will always love you!

AMBER RILEY KILLED THAT SONG!!!  Love J.Hudson, but Amber totally shoulda sung this song at the Grammys.  She's got the style, the range, and the ridiculously stupid talent to do so.  Who knows, maybe after hearing this, they'll let her do a full-out tribute to Whitney.  RIP Whitney

I got goose bumps!! I loved it. Much better than J Hudson. You gotta have a certain gentleness to sing it like Whitney, and she has it!
