Unbeknownst to Charity, Robert planned many things to throw her off and confuse her about his intentions to propose. On Friday, February 18, 2011 Robert drove from MD to Philly to surprise her for their anniversary. After packing her bag, Charity had a day full of pampering followed by dinner at one of their favorite restaurants. The following day the couple was supposed to go to see the play “Arabian Nights,” but they never made it. Rob was called down to the concierge desk to handle a “billing issue” and a few minutes later Charity was asked to meet him down stairs. What follows is best captured by photos. Friends came as far as Chicago and New York to help Robert surprise Charity in Washington, DC.
