After 1 Year-Old Was Locked in a Washing Machine Mom Says She’ll Press Charges

The video of a one year old child being accidentally locked inside of a washing machine has hit the web and gone viral. The child’s mother, Sakia David was recently on the today discussing what happened and what her next steps are.

Sakia David, the mother of the toddler who was locked inside a spinning washing machine, tells TODAY’s Ann Curry that she plans to press charges against the man and woman responsible for the incident that was captured on video.

I have no children but that video makes me want to jump out of my skin!! That poor child! *side note* She should have made his hair more presentable to be on national TV... it's long enough to braid.

  I totaly agree with you about that baby's hair... I do have to say though, when this story first broke and the mother was interviewed she said she it was just an accident, they were just playing, and she didn't want to press charges. In fact, I was surprised her reaction wasn't of more concern. She wasn't as angry as one might expect a mother to be after their child nearly died in a washing machine. My question is why is she now concerend and why has her story changed? I'm interested to know what she's learned she has to gain.

If that was one of my kids I would had went to jail "cause I would had beat her and him.they should be in jail anyways.
