When Ronnie and I met one of the first DC Area experiences that I had to share with her was a trip to see Chuck Brown. Chuck was performing at the National Capital Barbecue Battle like he did every year and the rest was history. She was hooked!
Yesterday DC Legend and the originator of DC’s own music genre “Go-Go” passed away at 75 years of age after a recent bout of sickness. “RIP Chuck Brown” became and immediate trending topic and the world responded.
