DC Legend Chuck Brown Dies and The World Responds via Twitter

When Ronnie and I met one of the first DC Area experiences that I had to share with her was a trip to see Chuck Brown. Chuck was performing at the National Capital Barbecue Battle like he did every year and the rest was history. She was hooked!

Yesterday DC Legend and the originator of DC’s own music genre “Go-Go” passed away at 75 years of age after a recent bout of sickness. “RIP Chuck Brown” became and immediate trending topic and the world responded. Below are some of the most notable tweets that were sent out and one of our favorite YouTube performances of Chuck in action.

Wind me up Chuck!
