NBA Baller Grant Hill and his wife, singer Tamia, are among the 2012 nominees for the McDonald’s 365Black Awards, presented annually to individuals making positive contributions to the black community. Actress Meagan Good shared a few videos from her “mini-moon” with new hubby DeVon Franklin to Big Sur, CA after the couple wed on June 16. In one of the clips, the new Mrs. Franklin serenades her husband with Selena Gomez’s “Love You Like a Love Song.” While the pair had to have a quick escape before returning to work after their nuptials, they plan to take a full honeymoon in the fall.
LaLa Anthony gave a big kiss on camera to hubby Carmelo Anthony this week, sort of. LaLa was actually giving a make-believe smooch to the wax image of the NBA star which was unveiled at the Madame Tussauds Museum in New York. LaLa, Carmelo, and the couple’s son Kiyan all posed for pics with Melo’s wax figure look-alike. [9 News]
Actress Angela Bassett joins the cast of the film Olympus Has Fallen, a movie about a Secret Service Agent fighting back against North Korean terrorists. Directed by Antoine Fuqua, the movie stars Bassett as Head of the Secret Service.
