We’ve talked about power couples on the site before. You don’t have to be a big name or have a lot of fame in order to be a power couple. Everyday power couples impact lives in their families, communities and around the world each day.
But can you imagine how powerful it would be to have two power couples join forces?
When you think of two of the most famous black celebrity couples, you probably think of Jay-Z and Beyonce and Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith. So how amazing is it to hear that they’re joining forces to work on some projects together?
Jay-Z and Kanye West’s joint album, Watch the Throne, was released last year, and they are working on a documentary that showcases what they went through to create the album and take it on tour. Overbrook Entertainment, Will & Jada’s production company, has signed on to produce the documentary, which is set to premier at the Toronto Film Festival on Sunday, September 9.
When the Smith’s daughter, Willow, debuted on the music scene, Jay-Z signed her to his label, Roc Nation. Now, Jay-Z will be working with the Smith family on a remake of the movie Annie, starring Willow Smith.
So where’s Beyonce? She recently shared with the world via her Tumblr blog some additional pictures of her family, including Blue Ivy rocking a Watch the Throne shirt in support of her daddy.
