VIDEO: Toddler Fight Club Video Gets Daycare Workers Arrested

After a video surfaced showing disturbing footage of what is called a “toddler fight club”, three employees at The Hands of Our Future LLC Daycare in Dover, Delaware were suspended and will now be charged. Two 3-year-olds were filmed via cell phone video fighting each other at the daycare last March.

Although the video has not been released to the public, police report that one child could be heard saying “He’s pinching me!” Following that statement, a daycare employee is heard saying, “No pinching, only punching.” Clearly, this was an orchestrated brawl, instigated by the workers.

The employees, 19 year old Tiana Harris, 21 year old Estefania Myers, and 47 year old Lisa Parker, have all been charged with assault, endangering the welfare of a child, reckless endangering and conspiracy. This is very disheartening to hear, since we recently reported another disturbing daycare incident in the Vicksburg, Mississippi, just a few weeks back.

News coverage of the incident is below.

Are you more wary of leaving your children in daycare with multiple instances of neglect and/or abuse popping up?

Don't get me wrong, all of this is disturbing but the fact that one of these women is 47.... c'mon. That's the part that upsets me the most.

Yes, she is way grown and has got to know better. Just tragic!

This is why you have to remain involved..so they will think twice about doing this type of foolishness with your kid. This is ridiculous.

Yup, involved parents would be less likely to have this problem. So sad.

This is the reason why my wife and me are the "ever present" parents in our children's schools. Although it is sometimes difficult with our schedules it is important that people understand that our children have parents who care, and will not hesitate, to e-mail, call, show up, or rearrange their schedules for meetings. This matters, and my children are always well respected, cared for, and educated.

Awesome to hear that you and your wife make your presence known at your children's schools. Do you two participate on any boards or interact with their teachers? How do you fit it into your schedules?

King James Version (KJV) 6  But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea. God is not happy with anyone who bar S a child or cause children to hurt one another. It is a shame. I am praying for the teachers involved as well as the children and their families.

Everyone falls short of the glory of God and we all sin and make foolish mistakes. I thought sharing the verse I posted (without my name) Woops lol, was appropriate and needed. I pray for the teachers and all involved. I pray for their souls and pray they have accepted Christ as their personal savior.

Christ has no bearing on the feelings and emotions of these families. Ignorance of origin is horrid. What if they aren't Christian does that make them less worthy of sympathy? One does not need to "hope they have accepted Christ as their personal savior" to imply sympathy. This is a statement that infers those not seeking Christ are of lesser value. Sheer ignorance.

This is why I went from work- to- working out of my home for two years, because I don't trust day cares.

We need to pray over our children for protection, especially when others have them in their care whether it be teachers or even certain family members that you know they shouldn't be around because of the things they do that you do not approve of.

Please with all the prayers and bible verses. Where was god, Jesus, or Allah, Buddah or whoever when those children were being abused. Now y'all wanna pray for the women. People are sick. Mentally and emotionally. There is no praying away mental illness. No bible verse to heal those abused children. Stop it. Lock them dogs away and throw away the key. Us AA kill me. Thinking prayer and a scripture will heal or fix everything.... Thus we have soo many of us sick in the head cause mommy took mr to the preacher instead of the doctor?!!

PRECISELY why I am choosing to home school! This is disturbing, disheartening, sad and so very SICK! You never know the things that are going on inside the hearts and minds of people. If you're not in my home on a daily basis, you are a stranger and I do not trust my child with strangers no matter their level of education, training or how many background checks are done! LOTS of criminals have never been caught, so fingerprinting and background checks are futile! My baby will be with me, thanks very much!

I would put my child in that daycare! Life, real life is sink or swim the sooner they learn this the better!
