We’re excited to share that beginning on Monday Feb. 4th, Ronnie and I will be appearing weekly on HLN’s newest show, Raising America with Kyra Phillips! All we can say is wow! Well, actually we say wow and thank you. Thank you for supporting the site, supporting our films, and supporting this movement. When we launched BlackandMarriedWithKids.com in December of 2007 we never could have imagined where this journey would lead.
What we’ve definitely discovered over the past 5 year is that we were put on this earth to do this work. Supporting your marriages, relationships and families is what our true purpose is. We never could have imagined that our passion for changing the negative image of marriage would lead to doing so on national television, on a weekly basis nonetheless.
So here comes the next phase. We hope that you’ll continue to support us by tuning into Raising America with Kyra Phillips on weekdays. We’ll appear on the show each Monday, including the inaugural episode which airs at 12PM EST on Febuary 4th, 2012. Tune in that Monday to see if I can lose my DC area vernacular by the time we hit the airwaves lol. On Raising America we’ll look at the news from a parent’s point of view. From conversations that we’ve had with the team behind the show I can guarantee that you’ve never seen anything like this on TV. There will also be heavy social media integration so you’ll get a chance to be a part of the show as well.
