Product Review: Sansa slotRadio Player (Pre-Loaded Music Player)

by Ronnie Tyler
I have to admit that I was a little apprehensive when BMWK was asked to do a product review of the new Sansa slot Radio player by SanDisk.  It’s a new a gadget that is supposed to be great for time pressed moms that will allow them to enjoy their favorite music with no work involved.  First of all, I am so time pressed that I did not think that I had time to do this review.  Secondly, the ipod shuffle that …

Products We Love: Cleatskins

When my daughter played soccer last year one of the things I hated the most about wrapping up practice was having to de-cleat her, you know taking off her double knotted muddy cleats before she entered the car, especially if it was raining or we were in a hurry but that no longer is a problem thanks to Cleatskins.
The company says they are created “to fit over cleated shoes and quickly and conveniently take young athletes …

Introducing The Orbit Infant System: As Seen On The Office

TheMom and I are faithful viewers of NBC’s The Office. We think it is one of the funniest shows on TV and tonight one of the main characters had a baby. The talk of the web following the show (Don’t ask me how I know, I just do) was the stroller that appeared on the show. It’s made by Orbit and called the Orbit Infant System. Product Review: Funky Monkey Snacks

Looking for a tasty snack for the kids that’s healthy too? Well look no further. We recently tried “Funky Monkey Snacks” and were pleasantly surprised. The snacks are real fruit that goes through a proprietary freeze-drying process that takes out the water but locks in the goodness, you know - the flavor, vitamins etc…
TheDad liked the Banana flavors the best. He’s been trying to cook plantains on and off for the past year and hasn’t quite perfected it yet but he said that’s what the banana flavor reminded him of. …

Our 6 year old spent a good chunk of the summer with her grandparents and when she arrived home I had something really special for her. A brand spanking new T from Verymeri.com. The T-Shirt read, “First Grade Rocks” (like the one above in the pic) and she ate it up (like I knew she would, I am her daddy after all). Verymeri has a complete line of T’s that were actually designed by kids and a portion of sales go back to community organizations so they seem to be …
