17-Year-Old Accepted to All Eight Ivy League Universities

Typically, college seniors are trying to determine what college they want to attend after they graduate. Rarely, however, is a high school senior trying to determine which Ivy League school he wants to attend because he’s been accepted to all eight.  That has recent become reality for Kwasi Enin, and it’s a pretty impressive accomplishment.

Enin is the 17-year-old son of two nurses who immigrated to the United States from Ghana in the 1980’s. The young man is a violinist and an aspiring physician. He also sings in his schools’s a capella group, volunteers, earned a 2250 (out of 2400) on the SAT’s, and is in the top 2 % of his class at William Floyd, a large public high school in Long Island, New York.

According to USA Today, Enin recently said in an interview that currently, Princeton has offered him the most attractive aid package, but he still has not received an aid package from Columbia, Harvard or Cornell.

Needless to say, we are very proud of Kwasi Enin and his great accomplishment. It serves as a reminder that our young men are more than capable of achieving great things.
