We spend so much time online these days it’s a wonder we still remember how to interact with each other without a keyboard in front of us.

Think about it. How often are you hanging out at night, one of you on the couch, the other in his or her favorite chair, and one or both of you is doing work, or watching TV, or laughing out loud at a joke someone posted on Facebook? How often have you found yourself sending a text to your spouse that could have been handled better during an actual call?

For this tip, we’re asking you to pick one night a week to simply….be. No TV (set the DVR), no computers, no internet, no cell phones. Just you and your spouse.

Do a household project together you’ve been putting off; take a shower together, whatever. Just don’t let the focus shift from the two of you.

Week three of the challenge is in the bag. How are you doing so far? One week left!
