Just short of a year and a half after her sister gave birth to son, Cree, Sister, Sister star, Tamera Mowry-Housley, is expecting a baby any day now. She and husband, Adam Housley, decided not to reveal their son’s name until after he’s born.
The anxious, soon-to-be mom recently tweeted, “Had a dream about my son. Woke up wanting to hold him,” but admits she is taking time to enjoy the peace and quiet before her delivery. Mowry-Housley, who plans to have a natural birth, gained some practice in parenting in her role as a mother of a 10-year-old boy in GMC’s television movie, Christmas Angel, due to premier later this year.
Mowry-Housley expressed her feelings of waiting and wanting on her guest blog for People writing, “If I have yet to learn patience, my son is in the process of teaching me now. I have learned that I am not in control and that he will decide when he comes,” she writes. “However, I have not been as receptive as I want to be to his timing. If I am completely honest”... at this stage, I want this baby out!”
Sister, Tia, will be with her through the childbirth, but is skeptical that her sister will be able to handle the pain of a natural birth, she told Us Weekly.
“She is my sister and we can’t take the pain. Pain and us, we just don’t mix. She is trying to be brave, which is good… but I don’t think she is going to make it.”
