Ronnie and I are excited to extend the legacy of Black and Married With Kids.com by presenting the inaugural BMWK Standard Awards. The “Standards” are presented to couples in the African American community who represent a positive example of marriage that others can aspire towards.
We’ve handpicked 13 couples that we feel fit this description perfectly. These couples span three categories: Celebrity Couples, Couples Working Together and Couples in Ministry. These couples not only provide the image, but they are doing the work. Many are in business or ministry together and most are having a direct impact on other couples who strive for better relationships.
Along with recognition here on BMWK, each honoree will receive an award that physically represents our appreciation, support and encouragement as a way of saying thank you.
