Father’s Day is a really big deal at our house for two reasons. First, my husband is a really great father (and I’m not just saying that because I love him and he’s super cute.)

He’s a good man, he’s a great provider, he’s a great partner to me, he’s a loving father, he’s a silly father that plays too much, and he’s very intentional about spending time with the kids and teaching them the things they need to learn to grow up to be great people.

Second, he always does a great job of celebrating me on Mother’s Day, and I can’t let him show me up. So, that’s why we are always looking for great ways to celebrate him on Father’s Day.

He always does a great job of celebrating me on Mother’s Day, and I can’t let him show me up.

If dad likes to spend quality time with the family by doing fun things (like my husband) and if dad is super competitive and will not let anyone in the family win, no matter how cute they are, then he is going the love Chuck E. Cheese’s exclusive Father’s Day offers.

Yes…you heard me right.  I said take dad to Chuck E. Cheese’s for Father’s Day to enjoy exclusive offers and lots of fun activities for the whole family to enjoy together. Just think about it, there will be great food (you definitely have to check out the Thin and Crispy Pizza); and there will be lots of fun activities that will allow the family’s biggest kid to let his competitive juices flow.

Our entire family went to Chuck E. Cheese’s this week to scope out the situation before Father’s Day. And just as we suspected, my husband and I had just as much fun as the kids.  We almost spent all of our tokens challenging each other on the games. And no matter how hard the kids and I tried, we could not beat my husband on ANY of the games.  But we had fun trying!!

Lamar was not going to let us leave Chuck E. Cheese’s without beating us in a game of basketball. But I gave him a run for his money.

I actually beat Lamar one out of the three times we played this Ski-Ball game at Chuck E. Cheese’s.
