5 Reasons Your Husband Doesn’t Help Out More

I think some men are great with offering their wives a suitable level of help and support with day-to-day responsibilities. But I’d be lying if I didn’t say that many of the women I know could share a complaint or two (or three) about their husband just not helping out enough (I am definitely not trying to make men look bad, so stay with me here).

So what’s going on? With everything that a family has to juggle, especially when there are children involved, why should a wife ever feel like the majority of the day-to-day responsibilities fall on her shoulders? Doesn’t it seem natural that a husband would step up and help whenever needed?

But maybe some men have good reasons for not helping out more (and maybe a few not-so-good reasons, too). Whatever the case, to reduce tension in your marriage, and on an individual level, you need get to the bottom of things so you can be in a partnership where you feel supported. Maybe not all responsibilities are equally shared, but at least you can find yourself in a place where you feel like you have a true partner to move through life with.
