9 Holiday Stains that Could Ruin Your Christmas Spirit and How to Remove Them

This is a sponsored post brought to you by The Clorox Company.

There’s nothing worse than getting all dressed up for a holiday party and spilling something all over your party clothes.  Or, what if you get lipstick or foundation on that awesome cream holiday outfit (you know the one that has you looking like Olivia Pope?)  Or, what if someone spilled wine on your carpet or couch after you worked tirelessly for hours getting your house ready for your holiday party?  Would any of those scenarios dampen your holiday spirit?

“They’re irritating and inevitable. A smear of festive red lipstick on your favorite blouse. The patchwork of grease and gravy on the tablecloth after the big meal. Stains can put a damper on the holiday merriment.”

They very well could…but thanks to Clorox you’ll be able to strut your winter whites, while wearing red lipstick and dancing with a glass of your favorite red wine in your hand without any worries.  This is because Clorox has provided step-by-step instructions for removing those troublesome holiday stains.

Check out the infographic below, where Clorox’s resident stain expert Mary Gagliardi, aka Dr. Laundry, shares tips on how to get out even the toughest, set-in stains with the help of Clorox 2® Stain Remover & Color Booster.

According to the infographic, chocolate, lipstick, grease, gravy, eggnog, wine, wax, cranberry sauce, and coffee are the top nine holiday stains that people are talking about on-line.  Could you imagine avoiding any of those items over the holidays?  Well if you are a mom of 4 kids, like me, you might avoid wearing certain things because you know your kids might spill something or touch you with their messy hands.  So, I am thankful to Clorox for giving me some peace of mind as I prepare to let loose, wear what I want, and party this Holiday season.
