Ronnie shows you how to make great looking recipe cards just in time for Thanksgiving using HP’s Creative Studio. She also gives you the scoop on how to make her delicious hot rolls!
“Ronnie’s Delicious Hot Rolls”
Ingredients:
1 stick margarine, melted
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp. salt
Directions:
Mix in 1 cup scalded milk
(I usually melt the margarine in the milk in the microwave– then add it in the bowl with sugar and salt).
Mix in 2 cups flour
Add egg and yeast mixture:
1 beaten egg
1 package of yeast mixed in ¼ cup warm water (This usually takes
Some stirring to get smooth)
Then:
Mix in an additional : 1 1/4 cups flour.
Beat well. Let rise. (probably at least 2 hours). You may refrigerate dough at this point if you want. (overnight is fine). Make into rolls. (If dough has been refrigerated, obviously it will take a little longer to rise– but it is easier to work with). Sometimes it is very sticky to make out. Don’t get discouraged— just apply more margarine to your hands—- Let rise again for about 2 hours.
Bake at 350 F 10-15 minutes until they reach the “brown” look that you want in the rolls!

Ok..so I am officially sick of making rolls and my family is tired of my rolls too. My rolls are ok…but they are not as soft as I would like them. That last batch was like little rocks. Does anyone have tips for me.
I heard it was all about the kneading..so I was kneading my little heart out the last time.
Also, I am glad I got organized with the recipe cards!!!!

Thanks, for the recipe. seems simple enough for a “Cave Mom”, like me. LOL. Before “Kneading” if you put flour on the surface it helps the dough to smooth out quicker, and reduces the “stickyness”.
I sure hope many more tips on cooking/recipes will be posted.
