Chuck E. Cheese’s has been making some serious changes and they have something special for the parents. But before I tell you what it is, I want to make it very clear that their mission has and always will be to make kids happy…hence the slogan “Where a kid can be a kid.”
With that being said, parents are being asked to rediscover Chuck E. Cheese’s. They have made several great menu changes that will make the experience of going to Chuck E. Cheese’s enjoyable for the entire family, and not just the kids.
Two years ago, Chuck E. Cheese’s revamped their menu by launching several parent-friendly menu items, such as:
- gluten-free and thin & crispy pizza crust.
- specialty pizza flavors including, my favorite, Cali Alfredo (includes spinach, creamy alfredo sauce, sausage, mushrooms and chicken), BBQ Chicken (includes BBQ sauce, chicken, red onions and green peppers), Veggie and classic Pepperoni
- traditional and boneless wings,
- wraps,
- cheesy bread,
- pretzel bites
- an endless salad bar
- new dessert offerings such as Cinnamon Dessert Pizza, Churros and a giant warm, chocolate chip cookie
- and much, much more.
Over this last year, I’ve had the pleasure of tasting all of the above menu items and I can personally confirm that they are delicious. And the new menu really does improve the overall experience of visiting Chuck E. Cheese’s for parents.
Before, I used to go to Chuck E. Cheese’s because my kids wanted to go. Now, I really do look forward to being able to sit back and eat delicious food while my kids play in a safe, clean environment.
Wow…this is really good.
Today, I invited my friend Stephanie and her two sons to Chuck E. Cheese’s with me and the family. It’s been over four years since Stephanie has been to Chuck E. Cheese’s. The first thing she noticed while we were in line to purchase our food was a sign that said: “We Beat Pizza Hut®! Our thin and crispy pepperoni pizza beat Pizza Hut® in a nationwide blind taste test.”
I proceeded to order my favorite pizza, Cali Alfredo, a large half cheese and half pepperoni traditional pizza, and some of those delicious buffalo wings (bone in.)
When Stephanie took her first bite of the Cali Alfredo pizza, she said “Wow…this is really good.”
She also told me that she smirked when she saw the sign about Pizza Hut®. She shared that she lived near a Pizza Hut® and ordered from them frequently. But when she tasted the Cali Alfredo, she had to agree that she liked it better. Her oldest son also said: “I’m enjoying this pizza.” I thought that was so cute!!
Before I got home, I received a text from Stephanie. She thanked me for inviting them and said that she had a great time. My mission is complete because there is now one more mother that has a place to take her kids when she wants to spend quality time with them. Or, when she wants them to play while she relaxes for a while.
So now, I want to challenge you to rediscover Chuck E. Cheese’s and their new menu the next time you’re looking for a fun dining experience the entire family can enjoy.
