Magic Johnson told People Magazine that he believes that his HIV status has brought his family closer. The 53-year-old says that his family helps him by constantly making sure he’s taking his medicine, working out and eating healthy. He says that he, his wife Cookie, and children Earvin, Elisa and Andre are all “in the same fight, the same battle in terms of HIV,” he says. “I think it’s brought my whole family closer together”...Nobody can beat this disease by himself. You need a support system that you can open up to.”

Actress Tia Mowry-Hardrict stepped out on the red carpet with her new short, sophisticated “˜do at the STYLE channel’s 4th Annual Give & Get Fete in Beverly Hills. Tia talked to Hip Hop Hollywood about her reason for the big chop saying: “My son is 15 months old now. I’m not the same person that I was before. I have a new perspective & new outlook on life. And it’s because of him. I wanted to do something that represented that. Beyonce confirmed this week that she has dropped out of Clint Eastwood’s remake of “A Star is Born,” but according to Bey, the move has nothing to do with Eastwood’s dialogue with the empty chair. Keyshia Cole and hubby Daniel “Boobie” Gibson opened up to Essence Magazine  about married life on the heels of their new BET reality show “Keyshia and Daniel: Family First.” The couple talked about their marriage challenges, says that their inseparable, and that they sought the help of a marriage counselor when they had trouble hearing each other out. “At first, I didn’t believe in it,” says Gibson. “I’m a strong Christian, so I believed that, like, you go to God and you fix it and you pray about it. But sometimes you do need a different opinion.”
