Celeb Marriage Scene: Keyshia Cole Gets Hitched, Sheryl Lee Ralph Gets Her Own Talk Show

Congrats are in order for R&B singer Keyshia Cole who surprised fans by tying the knot with NBA baller Daniel “Boobie” Gibson of the Cleavland Cavaliers last weekend. Gibson, who is also father of the couple’s adorable little boy, tweeted excitedly over the weekend about their Vegas wedding. {MTV}

Singer Alicia Keys attempted to dispel the widely held belief that she had an affair with now hubby Swizz Beatz while he was still married to ex-wife, Mashonda. In the May issue of Essence magazine, Keys says that she and Swizz Beatz didn’t start dating until months after he and Mashonda separated, and that it hurt to hear the accusations that she was a homewrecker. {Celebrity Baby Scoop}

New dad Nick Cannon  tweeted about his anger  that someone leaked the birth certificates of his and wife Mariah Carey’s new twins within a week after they were released from the hospital. Spike Lee’s film, If God Willing and Da Creek Don’t Rise, was one of 38 films to win a Peabody Award this year. The film is a follow-up to his 2006 film, When the Levees Broke, a documentary about the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina, which also won the prestigious award. {Real Screen}
