Celebrity Marriage Scoop: Grant Hill gets props, Denzel is Denzel, and Jada’s parenting style raises eyebrows

Our favorite celeb couples have been busy this holiday season. We’ve got the scoop on what the famous folks have been doing the week before Christmas:

Basketball Wives producer Shaunie O’Neal gave props to basketball star  Grant Hill for being a loyal NBA husband. The ex-Mrs. Shaquille said on a radio show last week that she would be willing to bet on Hill’s faithfulness to his wife of 11 years, R&B songstress Tamia. After watching Basketball Wives, it’s refreshing to hear that there are still basketball husbands that deserve this vote of confidence. [Orlando Sentinel]

In between starring in films and collecting Oscars, actor Denzel Washington likes to spend a little time spreading world peace. Washington and wife Paulette attended the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony in Oslo, Norway, earlier this month where the star was on-hand to cohost the Nobel Peace Prize concert. [Examiner]

Actress Jada Pinkett-Smith stirred some controversy this week when she said that she and actor-hubby Will Smith don’t impose rules on their talented twosome Willow and Jaden. Whether the philosophy is right or wrong, the Pinkett-Smiths seem to be guiding Willow right up the music charts.   [CTV News]

Watch out Lil Wayne and Nikki Minaj! Primetime Deion Sanders and wife Pilar rocked the mic with a little at-home freestyle on UStream. We don’t know about this rap duo’s lyrical skills, but they get two thumbs up for being truly entertaining. [Worldstar Hiphop]

Funny man Steve Harvey and wife Marjorie coupled up to do some shopping in Aspen. The pair made sure to keep themselves (and Marjorie’s purse) well-protected from the rain and cold. [Concrete Loop]

Actress Paula Patton and hubby Robin Thicke hit the streets with their baby boy Julian in tow. Momma Patton makes sure to keep the eight-month-old out of the rain. [Media Takeout]

For those of us that can’t make it to the White House this holiday season, First Lady Michelle Obama takes us on a video tour to see the gorgeous decorations and festivities. Her video card wishes happy holidays before the first family jets off to Hawaii for a much needed Christmas vacation.
