There have been several celebrity weddings this past week, and we’re excited to hear about it!

Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes remarried her husband Gregg in a lavish $1.8 million Old Hollywood themes wedding in Georgia. The bridal party had 9 bridesmaids, including her friend Diana who has made several appearances on the show, fellow castmate Cynthia Bailey, and Jennifer Williams of Basketball Wives. The bride rocked 2 gowns: a $50,000 gown by Baracci for the ceremony, and a $20,000 Pnina Tornai during the reception.

There were 400 guests who attended at the Intercontinental Buckhead Atlanta hotel, including Kim Zolciak, Phaedra and Apollo Parks, Peter Thomas, Vivica A. Fox, and Fantasia Barrino. Bravo was filming for Leakes’ upcoming spin-off show, “I Dream of NeNe: The Wedding”, which will air in the fall. Guests enjoyed soul food for dinner, including fried chicken, macaroni & cheese, homemade biscuits, shrimp and grits, and a 10-tier cake for dessert.

Star Wars creator George Lucas wed his girlfriend of 7 years, finance mogul Mellody Hobson and celebrated twice! The wedding took place June 22 and they had a star-studded celebration Saturday, June 29 at Promontory Point in Chicago, Ill. Guests included Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, Jesse Jackson, Al Roker, and Prince, who performed with a 22-piece band.

Their June 22nd ceremony took place at Skywalker Ranch in Marin County, California. 200 guests served as witnesses, like Harrison Ford, Quincy Jones, and Oprah Winfrey, who interviewed the couple in 2012 for her show “Oprah’s Next Chapter”.

Last but not least, New York Knicks star Amar’e Stoudemire renewed his vows with wife Alexis in a traditional, but extravagant ceremony. The two officially got married on December 12, 2012, and celebrated with family and friends at the Vizcaya Museum & Gardens in Miami. Fellow professional athletes were in attendance, including teammates Carmelo Anthony and Tyson Chandler, and New York Giants football player Victor Cruz.

The wedding party consisted of the couple’s four children, including their 2-month-old son. Planned by Oprah’s event planner, Colin Cowie, both the bride and the groom had separate ceremony and reception outfits: Alexis in J’Anton then Oscar de la Renta, and Amar’e in Calvin Klein then Lanvin.

Congratulations to all the couples on the nuptials!
