Below are some of the hottest summer concerts coming to a city near you. They are a great opportunity for you and your significant other to get dressed up, go out and sing along to some of the very songs that perhaps served as the soundtrack to your romance.

P. Diddy and the family recently announced their Bad Boy Reunion tour. This will surely be the talk of the summer as nearly the entire Bad Boy roster comes together for the first-ever reunion tour. The 25-city tour will include: Lil Kim, the Lox, Mase, Faith Evans, Mario Winans, 112, Total, Carl Thomas and French Montana. Tickets will go on sale May 20.
Note: Tune into social media on May 21st and 22nd to catch Diddy and the gang do a bit of a tour preview with their 2-day event, celebrating the birthday of the late Notorious B.I.G. at the New York’s Barclays Center.
Beyoncé World Formation Tour
For those of you who have already missed your chance to catch Beyoncé’s tour, you may be in luck. The “Lemonade” star has extended the tour with seven additional dates, in which she also circles back to cities such as Atlanta, Los Angeles and Houston.

Band frontman Frankie Beverly continues to amaze with his soul singings. But if you miss the days of real instrumentation, where the band often gets into “it” enough to veer off into extended grooves, then this is the concert for your date night.

Maybe this is your compromise concert as he likes Future’s catchy hooks and you love Drake’s ballads (or vice versa). Don’t be surprised if there are a couple guest performances as Drake has been known to bring out a few of his celebrity friends from time-to-time (though we’ll hold our breath on Meek Mill hitting the stage).
I Love the 90’s Tour
Dance, sing and walk down memory lane with this mix of 90s-era chart toppers. While Salt-N-Pepa headline the tour, some of the other acts vary from city to city. The concert includes performances from acts such as Vanilla Ice, All 4 One, Color Me Badd, Coolio, Tone Loc, Rob Base, Kool Me Doe and Young MC.
Note: It’s not imperative to dust up your Cross Colours outfit to attend the concert. But you will score points in my book.

Of course, summer is also the season for music festivals. So if your favorite artists isn’t touring in your city, see if they’re on the lineup at one of the popular music festivals. These festivals usually pack in a day’s (or weekend’s) worth of multi-genre musical acts and more. There’s Tennessee’s Bonnaroo festival, Chicago’s Lollapalooza, Philadelphia’s Made in America festival, Delaware’s Firefly Fesitval, Atlanta’s One Music Fest and more.
