Wives Do You Know How to Recognize and Use Your Power?

Wives have been known for being the ones who hold the family together. Have you ever wondered how women do this? I believe it is because of the power inside them. Wives, we must recognize our power and use it accordingly.

A wife’s power comes knowing who she is. She is confident and comfortable with the woman she has become. That power allows her to tackle any situation she faces. When you are faced with anything that threatens you, your home or your family, wives use your power of knowing who you are. You are strong because you are a woman and you were created in the image of God. You are powerful because you are the daughter of the Most High. Wives, use your power to continue being who God says you are.

A wife’s power comes from loving her husband.  She allows him to be the man God created him to be. Her love for him allows him to lead the household the way God called him to lead. She uses her power as a helpmate to comfort, encourage and pray for her husband. A wife knows that just because her husband is the head of the family that her role is not by any means diminished. She knows that she is one with him and her actions affect her husband. Wives, use your power to keep your husband encouraged.

A wife’s power comes from being the mother that God wants her to be. She sets an example for her kids by showing them how a wife should be treated and how a wife should treat her husband. A wife knows that in order for her kids to respect their father, she must respect her husband. A wife knows that her role as a wife comes before her role of a mother. Wives, use your power to raise your children the way God wants you to raise them.

A wife’s power comes from prayer. A wife knows that she must pray for her husband while praying for herself and her children. She knows that prayer changes situations. A wife knows that her real power, the power to see her family and herself succeed comes from prayer. A wife knows that when the family receives bad news or something tries to threaten her home or family, prayer is her best weapon. Wives, use your power of prayer to fight.

Wives please know that just because we are the “weaker” sex physically, many times we are the stronger sex spiritually. Whenever you don’t see things going right, your kids get out of line, be young or adult kids, you have power inside you. Use your power to be the woman, mother and daughter God has called you to be.
