The Obama family has just returned from enjoying a 15-day vacation to Hawaii for the holidays. The only thing is, they left the First Lady behind. Why, you ask? Well, President Obama decided to give his wife an early birthday gift by extending her stay in Hawaii, giving her some time to relax and catch up with friends.
Obama and his daughters, Sasha and Malia, left Hawaii to return to Washington, DC on Saturday night aboard Air Force One.
Although FLOTUS probably misses her family dearly, we are sure she is very happy about being able to spend a few extra days in the Hawaiian sun. Between this and the 50th birthday party being planned by the White House, Mrs. Obama is definitely painting a pretty sweet picture of what it means to be 50 and fabulous.
