Former NFL Player Chris Draft Loses Wife One Month After Wedding

Former NFL player Chris Draft, who used to play for the Atlanta Falcons, the Chicago Bears, and the Washington Redskins, is mourning the lost of his wife just one month after they exchanged their vows. Despite Keasha Draft’s battle with cancer, the couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Atlanta on November 27th, which you can see a trailer of below. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 31, in South Carolina. Our deepest thoughts and condolences go out to the family and friends of Chris and Keasha.

Chris Draft had a 12-year career in the NFL, after being picked in the sixth round from Stanford University in 1998. He established the Chris Draft Family Foundation, a non-profit organization that focuses on the importance of education, healthy lifestyles, character development, personal responsibility, self-discipline and physical fitness.
