Ice Cubes, Friday, Goes Back to 400 Theaters for 20th Anniversary

Do you remember where you were when you first watched Ice Cube’s classic, Friday? It’s hard to believe that this movie turns 20 years old next month! Friday, originally stared Ice Cube and Chris Tucker in 1995! If that doesn’t make you feel old or well, seasoned! In celebration of the 20th Anniversary, American theaters are screening the movie in 400 theaters across the country on April 20th at 7:30pm (local time).

This one time event will allow fans of this movie to share their memorable classic with their teenagers and young adults. It’s a great way to see why this movie quickly became apart of not just African American culture, but American culture. The screening will also debut, “Friday Straight Up,” a 24-minute featurette including behind-the-scenes set footage and cast interviews. To purchase tickets and view locations visit Fathom Events.

BMWK, Will you go see Friday again?
