[tps_header]Kirk Franklin, an award winning Gospel artist, knew he wanted to make his close friend Tammy Collins his wife from the first moment he saw her. Fast forward 20 years later, they are still together as a strong Christian couple.
Kirk Franklin attributes a lot of his success to his wife by stating that she was his “muse”. Coming from two different backgrounds, it would seem like their worlds couldn’t coincide because Kirk had a rocky childhood that involved his mother’s abandonment and Tammy had a healthy nuclear family.
In addition, there marriage has had problems in the past, which every marriage goes through. Nonetheless, they fell in love and married at 18. Kirk Franklin attributes the success of his marriage to his wife’s understanding and patience. They have four children together.
