During Easter, actor Mekhi Phifer married long time girlfriend Reshelet Barnes in an intimate ceremony in Beverly Hills, California. Phifer, best known for his role in the television drama “ER”, and also his roles in movies like “Soul Food” and “8 Mile”, exchanged emotional vows in a ceremony officiated by Judge Greg Mathis.
There were about 100 attendees, including both of Phifer’s sons from previous relationships. Omikaye Phifer is the oldest from Mekhi’s previous marriage to Melinda Williams. The younger son, Mekhi Thira Phifer, Jr., was born in 2007 when Mekhi was engaged to his former fiancee, Oni Souratha.
