In a recent interview with People magazine, First Lady Michelle Obama shared two personal rituals that the first couple shares on a daily basis.
Bedtime:
‘We have a ritual where he tucks me in, because I’m usually in bed before anybody. He’ll come and turn the lights out and give me a kiss and we’ll talk. He’s like, “Ready to be tucked?” I’m like, “Yes I am.”‘
Walking the Dog:
The First Lady shared that walking the dog gives them another opportunity to share personal time with each other. ‘We live above the store, which means 6.30pm is dinner,’ she says. ‘The first half hour, we’re talking to the girls, then we shoo them off to go walk Bo and catch a little check-in without the kids.’
