This delicious fruity green smoothie really does taste good! Many people are turned off by the color of green smoothies but not only are they healthy but they can taste good too! With the right mix of ingredients (and the right blender), you can enjoy being healthy! I often drink a green smoothie as a supplement to one of my 3 meals in a day. Or I will sometimes drink it with a salad for lunch. But the most important thing about this recipe is that it tastes good!!!! You really can’t go wrong with the sweetness of all those fruits!

Delicious Fruity Green Smoothie
2 thin pineapple rings (or 1/2 cup of blueberries)
handful of baby kale (or baby spinach, or watercress – sometimes I mix two greens in one smoothie)
6 oz. of light or low fat yogurt (or light or low fat flavored yogurt as well, I love to add a blueberry one)
¼ cup orange juice
1 tbsp. agave nectar
1 cup of crushed ice
1/2 – 1 tbsp. of ground flaxseed (optional if you want extra fiber and protein)
READY, SET GO:
Add all ingredients to a blender (I love and use the Ninja Mega Blender) and blend about 2-3 minutes or until all ingredients are well blended
