It’s only been three weeks since our girls have been back in school and one of them has already missed three days of school because of a virus. And, I have missed two days of work because I caught it from her (thank goodness it was Thursday and Friday and I still had the weekend to recuperate). This cold and flu cycle has started too early this school-year!
As a parent, I’m faced with doing the right things to ensure that my babies are on the road to recovery and are not getting worse. I don’t want to go to the doctor’s office if it is not necessary. It’s a hard call for parents to make especially for me, since some of my kids are known for bringing the drama (meaning a stubbed toe and a broken leg get the exact same reaction from them).
