Last week the nominees for the 45th NAACP Image Awards were announced. Created to acknowledge and celebrate the accomplishments of people of color in areas of film, television, literature, music and social justice, the NAACP Image Awards is highly anticipated by people everywhere.
Some of the many nominees for this year’s awards include actors like Nia Long, Columbus Short and LL Cool J, and television shows like “The Real Husbands of Hollywood,” “The Game” and “Scandal.” With awards being given in over 50 categories, this year’s Image Awards is a must-see telecast.
The NAACP Image Awards airs on TV One on Saturday, February 22nd, 9pm ET/PT. There will also be a one-hour preshow, live from the red carpet, airing at 8pm ET/PT.
