Here at the Disney Dreamers Academy, 100 teens (dreamers) are brought from around the country to be inspired to dream big! This program is designed to motivate teens to achieve their personal and professional goals through a series of class room style learning experiences and motivational talks from industry and community leaders and celebrities.
During this 4 day event that is sponsored by Disney, Steve Harvey, and Essence Magazine, the kids will not only be inspired to dream big but they will also be given practical advice on how to achieve their goals.

- You are an original. Don’t live like a copy. Look within and find out what makes you original. Try to understand your passion and who/what you are meant to serve and go about doing that.
- You have power. The ability to determine the results in your own life is your personal power. Don’t let your current situation or your environment impact who you are on the inside. You have to participate in your own rescue.
- You gotta do what you gotta do until get to do what you want to do. While you are pursuing your dreams there will be obstacles and challenges along the way. But you have to ask yourself if it is worth it.
- Be Unique – The way to take advantages of opportunities is to make yourself standout. You need to make yourself unique.
