Denzel Washington added another top entertainment award to his career bests when he was presented with the Cecil B. Demille Award at the 2016 Golden Globes. But one of the most memorable things about the event wasn’t the fact that Denzel was remembered, but the things he forgot. Here are 3 things Denzel Washington forgot at the Golden Globe Awards last night.
- His Glasses – Okay Denzel, not that I speak from experience or anything, but for the next award, either increase the font size in your speech or sport your glasses on a chain. You’ll look great no matter how you wear them.
- His Wife – Pauletta was right by her man’s side, cheering and supporting – but I think the jitters got in the way of him praising her the way he probably would have wanted to.
- His Swag – Now I have seen Denzel accept many an award, but this is the first time I’ve seen him leave his swag behind. That cool, suave way he has about him, well, I think it got lost in his gratitude. Still, somehow, he made humility look awesome! Check out the video below.
