The Montreal Jazz Festival announced that 2010’s Grammy winner for New Artist of the Year Esperanza Spalding will perform at the 33rd annual celebration of music.
Enjoy a night of funk with Esperanza Spalding and her Radio Music Society on Friday June 29th @ 8:30 p.m. at the Metropolis. Metropolis is the premiere stage and dancehall of the festival and has welcomed superstar performers like Prince and Philly natives The Roots. Other confirmed artists include: The Wayne Shorter Quartet, Chris Botti and Tangerine Dream. If 2012 is anything like this years’ festival, mark your calendars because the best and brightest in music will be headlining the Montreal Jazz Festival.
