We’ve all witnessed the cute little angels in the office with Moms & Dads pretending to do their parents jobs during “˜Take your Daughter to work day.’ The annual event is one of the most popular and fun events in the country. Well”...we have another event that is sure to become just as popular and will probably be much more fun.
The PGA (Professional Golf Association) has designated July as family golf month and this week is officially “˜Take your Daughter to the Course Week.’ Get your favorite set of clubs ready! Today thru Sunday July 15th, golf courses/facilities across the country are hosting exclusive “˜Take your Daughter to the Course’ day events. During these fun filled events, facilities are offering “˜FREE’ green fees to girls accompanied by a paying adult. Some are also offering/planning free golf clinics for young ladies.
The PGA hopes that these events will introduce young girls/ladies to the wonderful game of golf and inspire them to become great golfers. In addition to giving the world more fabulous golfers, the events are also designed to promote family togetherness and family quality time. BMWK loves this mission!
