One of the Caribbean’s’ most popular music festivals is back! The St. Lucia Jazz Festival kicks off Wednesday May 9th with an awesome opening night performance lineup with Jazz great Joshua Redman. Friday night the music party continues with the Gipsy Kings and a member or reggae royalty, Ziggy Marley (separate performances).
Performing for the first time at the festival on Friday night is R&B princess Keri Hilson. Later that evening, bringing a little gospel to the festival stage is gospel favorite Kirk Franklin. Headlining the festival and wrapping the party up on Sunday night is Canadian songstress and R&B princess Melanie Fiona. Melanie Fiona shares the main stage with icon Hugh Masekela and one of the original Commodores, Lionel Richie.
Make your travel reservations now, especially your hotel reservations. Some of the popular hotels are booked a year in advance for this event. Boutique hotels like the Coco Palm, Ginger Lilly Hotel and the Caribbean Jewel are beautiful hotel options with fabulous amenities like private pools and swim up suites.
