Whitney Houston has always been one of my favorite singers. Listening to this btings tears to my eyes. Not because it wasn’t a good performance but it’s sad for a GREAT, no the GREATEST voice of all-time to ONLY be able to give a good performance. TRAGIC is what it is……..what a price to pay:-(((!

@Elisawooridge: You know what would have been tragic: If Whitney Houston died because of her past problems. People are so unforgiving and tied up in the past. I love Whitney Houston’s voice in the past, the present, and the future. She will always be the greatest female vocalist ever. Her part was not that long….but I guarantee most of the people stayed up late to watch her….WHITNEY HOUSTON!! I loved her performance and the richness of her voice. Whitney looked beautiful and I loved seeing her. I had tears too…..tears of joy and thankfulness of being able to witness her sing again. We all pay the price for our mistakes. Whitney is alive…looking fabulous…riding the waves of her number album…and living life. You should appreciate what this woman has already given to the world of music.

God is able and can restore us even when we have lost our way. Although she is unable to reach of all of her used to be “easy” notes, I’m glad that he caught her soul and she is back to “life”. Kim was probably instrumental in her spiritual awakening…be blessed Whitney.

Whitney looks good and I was one of those people who stayed up late just to see her and it was worth it because that sister looked good. She is living proof that God can change any situation. Keep up the good work Whitney!

I applaud Whitney for turning things around! I give God thanks that she is trying to come back, but I’m convinced that her vocal chords have been damaged and she does not have the same crystal sound that she once had. I pray that God will continue to restore her.

I think whitney did a phenomenal job. After all she has been through just like so many other past greats whose voicestook a toll from drugs. Yet she still has one of the most powerful soulful voices that I ever heard!

Kim was already doing a great job. And then when whitney came out it was even greater. I started crying it was nice a beautiful song and I play it for my children one of whom just lost his best friend. And he don’t understand why. To help him understand I play gospel music that our youth can relate to thank you ladies.

I can see that once Whitney surrenders totally to God, He will give her back all that the devil has taken from her. It happened for Mary J. Surrender and submit and He will bless. Rhis was a touching performance.
