When you hear the name Chris Rock, you already know something funny is about to happen. It’s been a few years since we have seen him on the big screen, but that is going to change this December when he releases his latest project. Rock has written, directed and is starting in Top Five.
“TOP FIVE” tells the story of New York City comedian-turned-film star Andre Allen, whose unexpected encounter with a journalist (Rosario Dawson) forces him to confront the comedy career—and the past—that he’s left behind.

I found myself laughing out loud through this trailer and looking forward to it’s release. I love the fact that so many other comedians like; Kevin Hart, Tracy Morgan, Cedric The Entertainer, J.B. Smoove, and Sherri Shepherd are in this film delivering just as many laughs.
TOP FIVE, will open in theaters on December 5, 2014 (limited release) and December 12, 2014 (wide release).
The film is produced by Scott Rudin and Eli Bush. The Co-Producers are Shawn “Jay Z” Carter and Kanye West; the Executive Music Producer is Questlove.
