Last September, Evonne and Deon Derrico’s family grew from four children to nine when Evonne gave birth to quintuplets. TODAY recently caught up with the family to see how they’re doing.
When the couple appeared on ABC’s The View last October, two of the five children remained in the hospital. Currently, all five children are home with their four older siblings.
“I won’t even lie, it is hard!” Evonne told TODAY. “I tell people, do not try this at home.”
Evonne shared that they feed the babies a total of 40 bottles a day and change over 100 diapers.
“You change ’em, you finish and go to the next one, and then realize the one you just changed did it all over again” she said.
The family seems to have adjusted well to their newest additions and Deon told TODAY their greatest concern right now is making sure they don’t grow up thinking they didn’t get enough love.
