Well when I say watch us what I really mean is scan the crowd LOL. A little while back we were invited to be in the audience for a new show that would be broadcast on TV One and tonight is the night. We sat in for the taping of two episodes and had the chance to watch a 3rd starring Kem but had to beat it back home to relieve the babysitter (real married life).
What I can say is that this show is going to be off the hook. I’ve seen many people try to do a show like this but I think TV One actually pulled it off this time. Hosted by Hill Haper tonight’s episode will feature Ledisi and us. When I say she got down, I mean she got down! The venue and set up was on point and the band… good grief the band was amazing. Led by Adam Blackstone who appeared on last year’s season of The Voice with superstar Janet Jackson they were one of the best units I’ve ever heard.
So what do you get when you mix a tight band, some of today’s hottest artists and spoken word? You get Verses & Flow airing tonight on TV One at 11PM ET.
