Website Wednesday: Autism Wonderland

A few weeks ago I met an amazing blogger who’s doing amazing work.  Lisa Quinones-Fontanez provides a transparent look into raising a child with Autism on her site Autism Wonderland. She shares the up and downs and triumphs that you may take for granted with your child each day. If you read the very first blog post on Autism Wonderland which was penned one year after her son was diagnosed then you’ll be instantly hooked!

From the Autism Wonderland website Lisa declares:

And just so we’re totally clear.
I am a mother to a child with autism and I am a writer.
I am not a: lawyer, professional advocate, special education teacher, psychologist, therapist (of any kind) or social worker.
I’m just a mom – taking it day by day.

And because she’s a mom taking it day by day and taking the time to help others by sharing her story today we give Lisa a standing ovation. Her words and her work are helping countless others by letting parents in the same situation know that they are not alone.

BMWK family, please take a second to explore Autism Wonderland and share the word about this awesome site. Let us know which articles you LOVE in the comment section below.
