9 Something Blue Ideas for Your Wedding

Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue.  You may have the old, new and borrowed, but what about the something blue? If your colors do not include blue, there are many ways to incorporate the traditional blue. Here are a few.

  1. Have a blue bouquet or tuck pieces of blue accessories inside.
  2.  Wear a blue garter under your gown. It won’t be seen unless you do the garter toss.
  3. Wear blue nail polish. Any shade of blue will do. If you don’t want your fingers blue, just paint your toes, or paint the ring finger a light shade of blue.
  4. Wear blue eye shadow. Not only will it serve as your something blue, but the color brings out brown eyes.
  5.  Wear blue jewels. A ring, earrings, necklace or bracelet.  If you can’t get the real thing, a good piece of costume jewelry works fine.
  6.  Wear blue in your hair by tucking in a blue jeweled hairpin.
  7. If you are bold enough, wear blue shoes. Heals or flats are acceptable.
  8.  Slip on a pair of blue undies. The sexier the better!
  9.  Carry a blue wedding clutch to store your necessities.

Hopefully these ideas help you solve the “something blue” dilemma. Do you have any other ideas that will work as a “something blue?”
