The fun and fabulous day to celebrate your love with candy, stuffed animals, balloons and cards is fast-approaching. If you can’t surprise your sweetheart for Valentine’s Day with a getaway to a beautiful Caribbean island ,we can help you plan a fabulous staycation in your hometown.
- To pull this off, the kids are going to have to spend the night at their God parents’ house or Grandma’s house (the night before and the day of…lol).
- Start the official day of love with breakfast/brunch in bed with a menu of your favorite breakfast treats. Next, spend the afternoon being pampered.
- Go to a great spa for a couples’ massage, and his-n-her facials. If you can’t book a spa appointment consider a couples’ massage at your local ‘Massage Envy.’
- Follow your afternoon of pampering with a little shopping for those special dinner outfits.
- Wrap up your ‘Valentine’s Day’ with dinner at your favorite restaurant. If your favorite restaurants are booked consider dinner at a local winery. Great food and several wines to sample are also an excellent choice for your special dinner.
- Opt for a late check-in at the hotel, but before you pretend to check-in late with your spouse (wink wink), go to the hotel and decorate your suite with chocolates on the pillows, candles and rose petals from the door to the bed.
- Before you retire to your hotel suite, squeeze in little after dinner dancing at your favorite night spot/nightclub.
You don’t always have to go out of town to spend quality time with your sweetheart on Valentine’s Day. Create your own special Valentine’s Day memories in your favorite city. Make it a ‘Valentine’s Day’ tradition and experience a different restaurant, hotel and spa each year.
(Remember to reserve your hotel and restaurant options as soon as possible as reservations will fill up fast.)
