I came across a great post on a young brothers blog and wanted to share it with my BMWK family. He’s a student at Morehouse in Atlanta and details a conversation he was having with a fellow student recently. During the conversation his friend expressed interest in finding a great woman in the future and having a baby with her. When he asked the friend about marriage he replied, “Marriage is for white people and that real black people don’t get married”.

Yeah, I’m serious. We all know about the Washington Post article from a few years back when a middle school boy made a similar statement but this dude is in college. A good college that’s supposed to house some of the brightest minds in the black community!
