Travel Tuesday: Vacation with a Purpose and Support Cancer Research

Here at BMWK, we love vacations, especially ones with a wonderful purpose. October is breast cancer awareness month and the fabulous Atlantis Paradise Island resort is hosting its first ever “Pink it in Paradise” weekend. A portion proceeds from select weekend events will benefit the Susan G. Komen for the cure foundation, the Cancer Society of the Bahamas and Sister Sister.*

October 5th-7th, Atlantis Paradise Island, Bahamas officially becomes a pink paradise with the launch of the first “Pink it in Paradise” weekend of fun events. The fun kicks off Friday October 5th with comedy night featuring comedian Tammy Pescatelli (tickets start at $35). After a day swimming with the dolphins at “˜Dolphin Cay’ or a little fun at the water park, you can get your exercise in at the exclusive sunset “˜Zumbathon’ with Zumba creator Beto. Once you’ve started the adrenaline flowing at the 90 minute Zumbathon, dance on over to the ultimate deck after party on “˜The Royal Deck.’ (** The Zumbathon is complimentary.)

The weekend wraps with a fabulous brunch on Sunday. The “˜Blush Brunch at Pink Pool’ will feature an exotic brunch menu with fruit parfaits, smoked salmon eggs and the ever flowing pink champagne fountain. The brunch costs $49 and will also include fabulous spa treatments by Mandara Spa and live music from Atlantis’ resident DJ.

A fabulous idea, fun events and a beautiful Caribbean destination are all waiting for you. This is a fabulous weekend getaway for girlfriends or surprise gift for a breast cancer survivor. Let’s all support a fabulous cause and book a “Pink it in Paradise” weekend getaway today by calling 1-888-882-1301.
Enjoy!
