I shared the story of my wife being my #2 in my life, and how she is cool with it. Of course, my #1 relationship is my relationship with God, and the same goes for her. Many of you are cool with that in your marriage as well, but what happens when you are not #1 or #2, but you are LAST on your spouse’s list of priorities?
The Marriage Pressure Points Ministry has shown an amazing knack for identifying some very challenging, yet common issues in marriage. They are doing a great job of identifying these “pressure points,” and creating short films with plots we can all relate to. The latest of which is their short film, LAST.
In the film, Last, you will see the destructive pattern that comes when one spouse puts other relationships as a priority over their marriage relationship. You may have been there, or you may be there now. If you haven’t revealed your feelings to your husband or wife, it may be ripping you apart. As you watch the film, consider where your spouse is on your priority list. If he/she is not #1 or #2 (second to God), then it may be time you make your spouse a priority.
